Tumbling Waters Retreat

We are a boutique retreat with limited availability. Cancellations have a significant impact on our small business. For this reason, we have a strict, non-negotiable cancellation policy, regardless of the circumstances. Please read carefully before making your reservation.

Reservation & Payment Terms
•    A non-refundable $200 deposit is charged at the time of booking.
•    If your reservation is more than 21 days away, an additional non-refundable 50% deposit will be charged within 24 hours of making your reservation online to secure your reservation.
•    Full payment is taken within 21 days prior to your stay and will be automatically deducted from the credit card on file.
•    All payments are strictly non-refundable.
•    A 1.75%–3% credit card surcharge applies to all transactions (3% for Amex), plus a $10 online booking fee.

Cancellations & Date Changes
•    All cancellations or changes to accommodation, dining, day spa, early check-in, or late check-out made within 21 days of your stay are non-refundable.
•    A 50% cancellation fee applies to any cancellation outside of 21 days prior to your stay.
Date changes outside 21 days of your reservation incur a $250 date change fee.
•    No-shows will be charged the full fee.
•    In the event of COVID-19 / Goverment enforced restrictions or catastrophic weather events that force closure of the retreat, your booking will be transferred to a  midweek stay subject to a $250 date change / admin fee. The new date must be used within two years of the original booking.
•    We do not issue refunds if you or your children become unwell. We recommend arranging travel insurance or having another couple stay in your place if you cannot attend.

Dining & Day Spa Bookings
•    Dining on the Edge and day spa treatments must be booked online in advance and are subject to availability.
•    Minimum numbers apply for dining reservations, and offerings may change.
•    Once a spa treatment is booked, we are unable to amend appointments due to the boutique nature of our services.

Property & Guest Guidelines
•    Registered guests only – no outside visitors or private parties are permitted.
•    No children  unless approved by management.
•    Photo ID may be requested to verify credit card details.
•    Smoking permitted only in the garden areas only away from the accommodation. Non-compliance may incur additional fees.
•    Suites must be left tidy; extra cleaning will be charged to your card.
•    Noise restrictions apply – excessive noise may result in eviction without refund.
•    Pool hours are 6am–10pm to preserve the retreat’s ambience.
•    Parking is at your own risk.
•    Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided but may be unavailable during outages.
•    Damages or missing items will be automatically charged to the credit card on file.

Weddings & Events
•    The retreat also hosts weddings and is purpose-built to host both weddings and boutique accommodation simultaneously. Ceremonies take place in the garden (typically 4.15–5:15pm). During this time, guests are asked not to enter the ceremony area. Alternate pathways to the pool are available on the perimeter of the property.
•    The Function Room and wedding spaces are separate from guest areas to ensure privacy. All functions must conclude by 11pm at the latest.

Unforeseen Events
•    Tumbling Waters Retreat cannot provide refunds for natural disasters, road closures, or weather-related disruptions.
•    In the event of fire or a disaster effecting the retreats capacity to operate, your booking may be rescheduled to the next mutually suitable date. The retreat is equipped with extensive fire defence systems for your safety.

Security
•    24-hour CCTV operates throughout the property, including pool areas, dining spaces, and entrances.

Gift Vouchers
•    Once booked, gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be changed.

Can you cater for all dietary needs? Yes, of course. Please ensure you advise our team of any dietary intolerances / allergies before your stay.

Can you cater Halal? Yes, we can with notice.

Are drinks included during our stay? Reservations including  Evening Meals / Dining packages include House Wines, Beers and Soft Drinks.

All tariff types that include Breakfast include a buffet-style breakfast daily.

A room-only tariff excludes Breakfast.

Can we bring our Kids? The retreat is for adults only; however, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may require you to bring your child. Exceptions can be made if management has agreed in advance of your arrival.

Can we bring our pet? We do not allow pets in the accommodation.
